On Friday, September 19, Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) hosted the Legacy and Leadership Dinner at the Reese Center. This special event takes place every year to honor the 1971 Legacy Society and to recognize recipients of the Legends of Loyalty Award. The Legends of Loyalty Award was established in 2011 to recognize individuals who have, over the years, made a significant impact on the history of the college and who have gone above and beyond in demonstrating unselfish allegiance.
At this year’s dinner, the Newark Campus Development Fund (NCDF) was thrilled to be one of the 2025 recipients of the Legends of Loyalty Award. Along with NCDF, COTC President John M. Berry, Ph.D., also presented the award to Jacqueline H. Parrill, Ed.D., Andrea Tozzi, and Sandra Walker, EJD, MSN, RN.
Andrea Tozzi closed the event with a beautiful call to action, “Let’s try to be the world of brotherhood together through our chain of gifts, and let’s not forget that we won’t become rich by keeping everything to ourselves, it’s only by giving that we receive our true richness.”
