We were proud to celebrate the April 30th ribbon-cutting ceremony at Behr Paint Company’s newest Manufacturing & Distribution Facility in Heath, Ohio. Leaders from Behr Paint Company and Masco Corporation, parent company of Behr, were joined by Governor Mike DeWine and other state and local officials to welcome the company to Heath.
The site selection process began approximately two years ago. Soon after choosing Heath as their new home, Behr and Masco leaders worked with the Newark Campus Development Fund to establish a scholarship to benefit students furthering their education at the Newark campus of The Ohio State University and Central Ohio Technical College.
“We are proud to be a part of this community. It is our promise to be supportive stewards of this community,” shared Megan Selby, President of Behr Paint Company.
The Behr Paint Company Scholarship was formally established in 2023 to support military service members, single parents, students enrolled in OSU’s Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) program, and students with financial need at The Ohio State University at Newark or Central Ohio Technical College. The inaugural scholarships will be awarded to students for the 2024-2025 academic year.
